Heart Zipper Etsy Shop

Heart Zipper Etsy Shop

This is my current quilt I am working on that will be going into my Etsy shop.  This quilt is 100% cotton like all the quilts I hand make.  I also use quality designer quilting fabric in all my designs.  This quilt I am making using the Sweet Serenade Fabric Line by Basic Grey for Moda.  It will have a cream sashing, turquoise boarder, medium brown textured back, and the same brown fabric for the binding.  This quilt is going to turn out gorgeous!!!  I am excited at how well it is coming along.  Once this quilt is finished it will be listed in my Etsy shop unless I get a request for a sale before I put it up in the shop.

Many of you may have not noticed that I have an Etsy Shop.  There has been a tab at the top of my blog for quite a while I just haven't had a chance to write about it until now.  This tab is linked for your convenience of being able to find my Heart Zipper Etsy Shop.  I am still in the process of adding more handmade items to my Etsy shop.  I have many more ideas to come and many projects in process.  For now I just wanted to share with you what I currently have for sale in my shop.

 I was so excited to have the opportunity to review Beech-Nut baby food with my mommy group.  Beech-Nut is a well known brand.  They have many varieties of baby foods to choose from.  I have always loved their selection.  I also really like the size of their baby food jars.  It is seems a little larger than some of the other brands.  Beech-Nut has great appearance and packaging.  It is very appealing on the shelf and more enticing to buy than some of the other brands.  The packaging we received them in was so much fun and each was a surprise.

We had a lot of fun letting each of the babies try the baby food.  Even my kids wanted to get in on the action and feed the babies as well.  It was like a game to them and something fun.  All of the babies seemed to really enjoy the food they tried. 

They each ate a whole jar of baby food and one of the babies even ate 2 because she loved it so much.  I am very impressed with the new flavors of baby food that Beech-Nut puts out.  As moms many of us taste the baby food to see what our child is eating.  Out of the baby foods we received to taste all the adults that tasted them said they were delicious.  So why would a baby not like them?!?!

 As always I decided to make it a girls night out as well so I made dinner for all the adults.  I made one of my homemade stew recipes and my famous homemade rolls.  It all tasted delicious and it was so fun to hang out with the girls!!

We had a lot of fun and had a great time letting the babies try some great baby food.   I look forward to more mommy group tastings to come. :)  Can't wait to see the new babies arrive of the pregnant moms in our group.

I don't know if it is just my children or not but they do not particularly enjoy brushing their teeth.  It helps if they have a tooth brush that they actually want to use.  My kids although aren't excited to brush their teeth everyday they were excited for some new toothbrushes. 



My son is usually the one that fights the teeth brushing more than my daughter.  I want to teach my children how important it is to have good personal hygiene.   I personally brush my teeth 3 times a day since I was a teen and had braces.  I have always given my kids much encouragement to brush their teeth to prevent cavities and have better personal hygiene.   No cavities so far!! :)

My Review:

WooBamboo makes great Eco-friendly toothbrushes.  I don't buy "Green products" all the time just because I can't always afford to pay the extra just for the the extra Eco-friendly benefit.  I do like to be as "Green" as I can when I can afford it.  I was really excited about finding "Green" toothbrushes.  They don't offer them at local stores by my house but they do offer them online here at some of these online stores.  I really liked the structure of these toothbrushes.  I thought they wouldn't be as good of a quality as a plastic toothbrush but they were just as good if not possibly better.  These toothbrushes have great construction and I really like that they are more easily biodegradable than a plastic toothbrush.  My daughter also said she thought this toothbrush was softer than the other toothbrush she was using before.  This was a feature that we really enjoyed because my children complain a lot about the toothbrush hurting their mouth.  Many of our dentists have recommended soft toothbrushes compared to hard toothbrushes to prevent gum damage.  WooBamboo toothbrushes are very soft. These toothbrushes are great and cleaned just as well as a competing toothbrush.  WooBamboo kids toothbrushes are the perfect size for kids.  I would love to try them out in the adult size for myself.  This specific "green" product isn't too expensive.  It is a little more than the cheapest brand you could buy at your local supermarket, but being green it is much better for the earth.  These kids toothbrushes are about $4.95 for a set of 2.
