Lucky
Got a new hair cut recently and thought I would share. More than that I am grateful for such a wonderful husband in my life. It is nice to have someone there to truly by my other half. I don't know how I would manage life without him. I am already losing my memory and sometimes joke about early onset Alzheimer's. Who knows. He keeps me on track. I am grateful to have someone that loves me and takes such good care of me and our children. I'm happy to have him in my life.
Wash Cloths
I have been trying to make a bunch of wash cloths to replace the old ones I have that I just can't seem to get rid of that gross smell. I have made more than this. The latest one I made I love how it turned out. I love how the colors of the yarn just make the wash cloth no matter if you make them the same. I made a few more than these but they have already been used and so they are in the wash. It felt good to throw away old ones. This blue/green one is my favorite so far. The picture just doesn't do it justice. Thanks to my awesome sister in law for teaching me the stitch for these wash cloths.

Scrapbooking Adventures
I made these cards using Close To My Heart Roxy paper. They turned out really cute. I used the same layout 3 different ways to make 3 different designs. I just absolutely love this paper. I also used pearl paint and sprayed it on with a spray pen.

Panda Hat
My brother wanted a panda hat. It took me about a week on and off to crochet this panda hat for my little brother. I think it turned out really cool. Especially for my first animal hat. It was hard getting the placement of all the outside things just right. If I had the motivation I would probably take them off and put them on again. The eyes a little closer together. Still I am happy with the finished product. I worked hard on this and therefore I am happy about how it turned out. I know they will get easier and better looking as time goes on. These are really in style right now. I will be making a different animal for each of my kids as well. This is by far not my first crocheting project. Just there first one I put on here. It definitely will not be my last either. Thanks for watching. :)

Valentine's Dress
Couple of weeks ago I found this dress on another blog and decided I wanted to make this dress for Valentine's day. Of course it is cute that I made a heart dress for my little "heart" girl. It was really fun to make. It took me a few hours but I got it done. The hardest part was making the ruffles for the inside of the heart. As I was putting this dress on her this morning I decided I didn't like the length. It is just a little long on her. Oh well she will grow and I will still be able to use it again next year. She usually only grows taller and not wider so it should be a masterpiece next year on her. As I was taking her to school I didn't want her to look silly so I untucked the top over the top of the little matching belt I had made. To me I thought by the time I was done fiddling with it that it looked more like a skirt and shirt she was wearing that just matched. I don't know how it would look to everyone else, but oh well. All I can do is my best and if that isn't good enough for others that is not my problem. She was really excited I made it for her and really excited that she got to wear it today. That at least made me feel a little better. :) The only bad thing was that she drooled on when she was brushing her teeth this morning.
Valentine's Card
Here is the valentine's card I made for my husband. It was fun to make. It is a CTMH design. I absolutely love how it turned out. I hope he appreciates a homemade gift as much as I do. Of course I had to write a cute note inside to him. I left this card in his lunch bag he takes to work hoping that it would be a little surprise. :)

Teacher's Valentines Cards
At last minute I decided to make these Valentines cards for the teachers. I think they turned out pretty cute. I used almost all CTMH products. Can I just say I love their products and think you can't get better quality. I love how my projects always turn out. I enjoy scrapbooking and making cards. Especially cards because they don't take as much time. :)

Mini Me Maxi Skirt
Few weeks ago I had made myself a maxi skirt. I had a bunch of fabric left over so I decided to make one for my daughter. I was concerned about the length being too long for her because she is so clumsy. I decided to just go for it and I am so glad I did. It turned out so cute. When I had her try it on she would not take it off that is what she decided to wear all day. It was fun to make. It only took me about 30 min after having the experience of making mine. This one was much smaller and very easy. She loves it and I love it. I love having matching clothes with her. I hope as she grows older she will still like to do that and not be embarrassed. I love her and her personality and this just totally fits. :)
Pirate Quilt
Started this probably in July or August and just finished it yesterday. It wouldn't have taken so long if I would have just picked it up and done it. It just seemed like such an overwhelming project after I got started. This week my husband was out of town so I decided to get some projects done. This was one of them. I am so excited it is done and my son is so excited to have it. It feels good when you make something for someone with so much love and they are just as excited about it as you are. If I hadn't been asked so many times when this would be done then it probably still wouldn't be done. Well here it is. My masterpiece of many hours. It turned out awesome.

Valentine Bookmarks
These were not my original idea but I loved it. I decided to make some so my kids could give them to their teachers on valentines day. They are cute little book marks. I was going to sew some cute flower buttons on them that I had but decided not to. I decided not to because I figured the button would make it no longer flat and then they would sit funny in a book as a book mark. Well here they are. Not perfect but they will do. If I wasn't in such a hurry to make them they would probably look better too. Just trying to finish up many projects outstanding this week.
Jeremy's Birthday
Well I was sad that I wasn't able to be with Jeremy on his birthday. He was away for a work trip. I did make him this birthday card and hide it in his bag so that he would hopefully find it on his birthday. Sure enough to my luck that is just when he found it. I loved how the card turned out so I just wanted to share it all with you. Of course I couldn't share until after his birthday cause I didn't want to ruin the surprise. :)
