This is something near and dear to my heart and I have not yet spoken of this publicly. So here it goes........
I currently have 2 children. My son is 10 and my daughter is 7. When my daughter was born with a congenital heart defect and we knew we would face more surgeries and things to come with her so at the time we didn't think we wanted any more children. Fast forward to when she was about 4 years old, we decided we wanted to start trying to have a 3rd child. Our family just doesn't feel complete yet. We have suffered from infertility for the last 3 years. It has been hard for me to understand why this has happened to us because I knew we were already able to conceive 2 children before. I have struggled with this a lot emotionally. Most people don't like to talk about how they "feel" about their infertility. I feel VERY frustrated most of the time and sometimes it is really hard to see everyone around me being able to have babies and things working out so easily for them. It is really hard to go into the doctors office and see all the pregnant woman knowing how hard we have been trying. I have come to terms with many of the feelings that come along with infertility but that doesn't mean that it isn't still hard to go through. I won't share too much of that here since I am reviewing these products but hope to share more with you in a later post.
We ended up seeking a specialist in infertility. This doctor recommended that we try the
FertilAid Supplements from Fairhaven Health. We have already gone through much testing and so we at this point are willing to try almost anything. We were so excited to try these products to see how well they helped.
These were the FertilAid products for Men that we have tried:
Formulated by Amos
Grunebaum, MD, the ingredients in patented FertilAid

lifestyle. Ideal for men with a low sperm count or for those looking to
optimize their sexual health.
With much testing we had found out just about a year ago that my husband had very very low sperm count with almost no motility. We don't know if this was the case years before when we were trying to conceive our other two children, but as he is much older now it has effected him in this way now. (It took us more than a year to conceive each time before) When the doctor recommended us to start taking the FertilAid products he recommended them mostly for my husband but then told me I could probably get great results from them as well. I don't feel like the FertilAid for Men alone was enough but combined with the other products I feel like it gives them just what they need to improve the count and motility.
CountBoost for Men
is a non-prescription dietary supplement designed specifically for men
who have been diagnosed with a low sperm count - the leading cause of
male infertility. CountBoost is not a standalone product, but rather it is designed to be taken along with FertilAid for Men.
CountBoost is designed
specifically for men who have been determined to have a low sperm
count. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a "low sperm
count" is defined as a count of less than 20 million sperm per
milliliter of ejaculate.
MotilityBoost for Men
is a non-prescription dietary supplement designed specifically for men
who have been diagnosed with a low sperm motility, which along with low

MotilityBoost is not a standalone product, but rather it is designed to be taken along with FertilAid for Men
MotilityBoost is designed

motility, typically by way of a semen analysis (SA) conducted by a
physician.
After taking the supplements for about 6 months my husband was retested. When we got the results of the test we were very surprised. He went from having very very low count with almost no motility to being just at the low end of the chart and there was much more motility. This was exciting news for us because it meant that things were a lot more possible than we had originally thought. If he had not taken these supplements I don't think things would have improved so drastically. Although the results were better he is still in the low category but that is much better than what his results were the first time around. Seeing these results keeps us very optimistic.

My body doesn't ovulate every month like it should. I have been taking Clomid for at least 8 months now just to get my body to ovulate. I noticed a huge difference in the timing that my body ovulated being on the FertilAid supplements rather than not taking them even with having the Clomid. The one thing that I really love is that these supplements don't have the side effects that Clomid has. It is miserable sometimes to deal with the side effects of prescription drugs just to get pregnant. Being able to take something that doesn't add any new side effects is great. I also really noticed that from taking FertileCM my cervical mucus was of much better quality. I recently talked to my doctor about taking these supplements and he said he would recommend anyone trying to conceive to take FertileCM especially if you are on any medications like Clomid. My doctor told me that day that Clomid can actually dry your cervical mucus making it actually harder to get pregnant rather than helping. This is another reason I don't want to be on the medication long term. I would much rather take the supplements and be able to cut out the prescriptions. I also felt like I am not as "moody" when I take the FertilAid supplements. I felt like for me personally it regulated my hormones a little better and made my whole body actually feel better and more energetic. I probably get a lot more nutrients from the supplements than just my regular diet and that sure helped with the overall feel of my health. I am so happy with the results I received from Fairhaven products and I plan on the continue use of them.
As of now we still haven't had any luck conceiving but our chances are much better with FertilAid in our life. I hope to soon have good luck and be able to conceive. (Fingers crossed!) I know miracles are possible so I am not giving up.
